Buckinghamshire’s busiest and quietest train stations

Milton Keynes Central is the busiest train station in Buckinghamshire despite a significant decrease in passengers due to the pandemic.

More than 1.2 million people used trains at the station over the course of the last year, according to the latest figures released by the Office of Rail and Road.

The figure means that the station has almost as many passengers using it as the next three Buckinghamshire railway stations combined.

Milton Keynes Central was the 112th busiest station in the country out of more than 2,500 stops in Great Britain.

However, it saw a huge decrease of 83 per cent on the previous year, a clear impact of the Covid-19 pandemic.

The second highest Bucks station was High Wycombe, which had over half a million entries and exits and came 284th in the nation.

Amersham ranked third in Buckinghamshire and 348th overall, with 450,702 visitors.
